Public Art

Public art has become a hallmark symbol for our high-rise communities. To date, six high-rise projects display this unique form of public art.

These pieces of art are roughly 10 feet wide by 30 feet high allowing them to be seen from great distances. This adds a unique characteristic to the property and to the surrounding community.


 
 

Art created for Madison Highlands to highlight the beautiful wildlife and colorful sunsets found in Tampa, Florida.

Egrets and Orange Trees” - Created for Madison Crossing Phase I, this consists of handmade clay elements, iridescent vitreous glass tiles, ceramic smalti and mirror, as well as, multi-colored glass and gold tiles.

Central Florida Riverscape”. It is kiln fired tile mural that is hand painted on 1,440 six inch tiles. The mural features ducks, birds, and a large alligator, as well as, indigenous plants set against a brilliant sunset. This can be found on Madison Crossing Phase II.

Hibiscus and Butterflies” - Created for Madison Heights, this piece includes Hisbiscus, Butterflies, Prothonotary Warblers and many types of tropical foliage found in Tampa Bay.

“Merrily Leap”- Created for Madison Point, the mural is darker at the bottom with seashells, coral, reef plants and small colorful fish. Larger fish: a giant grouper. Tarpon and Snook swim into the middle ground. A mirrored mosaic sun crowns the top of the piece, set floating in a flaming sunset sky. Two dolphins that merrily. leap from the water completes the mural.
